Inter Unwilling to Meet Liverpool’s €40 Million Valuation for Curtis Jones
According to the Italian outlet Calciomercato, Liverpool midfielder Kеrtis Jones remains on Inter Milan’s radar despite a previous unsuccessful bid of €25 million to acquire him.
The Serie A champions are looking to strengthen their core squad by signing a versatile midfielder during the current transfer window. However, Liverpool’s asking price of €40 million has become a stumbling block for the Milanese club, which is unwilling to meet that valuation.
Since breaking into Liverpool’s first team, Kеrtis Jones has struggled to secure consistent playing time. A product of the club’s academy, he has showcased his versatility by performing in various positions across the midfield, leveraging his adaptability and reliability. Nevertheless, his current status limits his chances of establishing himself as a regular starter, a situation further complicated by his contract circumstances.
Jones has featured in over 200 matches for Liverpool, contributing 22 goals and 25 assists. Yet, his future at Anfield remains uncertain as he enters the final year of his contract this July. This contractual situation has drawn interest from several prominent clubs, including Inter Milan and Arsenal.
