Kudrovka winger Ivan Petryak shared his thoughts after making his first appearance in an official match since December 2024, during the second round of the UPL against Levyi Bereh, which ended 0-0.
“It felt like I was a 17-year-old making my football debut again. I spent a year and a half playing guitar, but not everything was in my hands. Now that I’m back, I have to admit I felt a bit of that human nervousness. I missed the football pitch and seeing the fans. Many relatives came to support me, as well as lots of friends. I didn’t expect that. I want to thank them. They know how difficult my life and career period was. But thank God, I’m back. Everything is good.
Today, the whole team was fired up. It wasn’t just me who wanted to win. There wasn’t a single indifferent person on the pitch or on the bench. Everyone was invested, everyone was motivated, and I didn’t see anyone who was indifferent. We all worked hard and wanted to win, but the game ended 0-0. We’re gradually getting used to each other since this is a new team. I believe things will go well for us in the future.
