João Palhinha, the midfielder for Bayern Munich, has agreed personal terms with Premier League club Aston Villa, according to insider Fabrizio Romano.

The 31-year-old Portuguese midfielder has already informed the German club’s management of his intention to continue his career in the Premier League and join Unai Emery‘s squad.

Negotiations between the two clubs over the transfer fee are ongoing. Palhinha is prepared to move to England as soon as a final agreement is reached.

Palhinha joined Bayern in July 2024 from Fulham for €51 million. Since then, he has featured in 25 matches across all competitions but has yet to register a goal or assist.
