Manchester City Agrees €135m Deal for Nottingham Forest Midfielder Elliott Anderson
Manchester City has reached an agreement to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson. The formalities surrounding the transfer will be completed once the player returns from the 2026 World Cup.
A club statement expressed, “Everyone at Manchester City wishes Elliot and the England national team success in their upcoming World Cup matches and looks forward to welcoming him to Manchester soon.”
According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City will acquire Anderson from Nottingham Forest for €135 million. This transfer will become the second most expensive in Premier League history, trailing only Alexander Isak’s move to Liverpool from Newcastle for €145 million.
Last season, Elliot Anderson appeared in 50 matches for Nottingham Forest, scoring four goals and providing five assists.
