Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford is set to join the squad for their preseason training camp in Ireland. According to ESPN, the 28-year-old forward will reunite with Michael Carrick’s team in Dublin following a period of rest after securing a bronze medal with his national team at the 2026 World Cup.
Barcelona has opted not to exercise the €30 million purchase option for Rashford, meaning the player will return to his parent club, where his contract runs until 2028. The English forward has not featured for the Red Devils in over a year and a half; after a fallout with Ruben Amorim, he spent time on loan at Aston Villa, and last season he played in Catalonia, scoring 14 goals in 49 appearances.
