Paris Saint-Germain has officially confirmed their second signing of the summer transfer window. The reigning two-time Champions League winners have bolstered their squad by acquiring Manes Akliush from Monaco. The 24-year-old winger has committed to a five-year contract with the Parisian club, keeping him at the Parc des Princes until 2031. The transfer fee was reported at €50 million, and Akliush will wear the number 11 jersey for his new team.
A product of Monaco’s youth academy, Akliush featured in 139 matches for his hometown club over five seasons, scoring 23 goals and establishing himself as a key first-team player. The negotiations were challenging, with PSG only reaching an agreement on the fee after four attempts. Akliush is expected to fill the void left by Lee Kang-in, who recently departed for Atlético Madrid. Looking ahead, PSG may continue to strengthen their squad with potential signings including Parma goalkeeper Sion Suzuki and Ajax’s Mika Gods.
