Raffaele Palladino, the Italian coach, has signed a contract with Bologna that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2029, according to an official statement from the club’s press service.
This appointment follows the dismissal of Domenico Tedesco, who was relieved of his duties after a very poor start to the Serie A season. Bologna managed to secure only one point from their first four league matches.
Palladino brings experience from his previous roles with Monza, Fiorentina, and Atalanta. He parted ways with the Bergamo-based club by mutual consent. His primary mission at Bologna is to stabilize the team’s performances and guide them back towards competing in the upper tier of the league standings.
Interestingly, Palladino was recently considered among the candidates for the head coach position at Kyiv’s Dynamo, although no official confirmation was ever made regarding that speculation.
