This summer, there was significant transfer interest in Real Madrid‘s Brazilian forward Endrick.
However, the Madrid club opted to keep the 20-year-old striker in their squad, despite having the chance to arrange another loan spell to gain top-level playing experience.
As a result, Endrick has only featured for four minutes in a Real Madrid shirt since the start of the season. To put that into perspective, last season on loan at French side Lyon, he played 21 matches, clocked 1,633 minutes, and contributed 8 goals along with 8 assists.
If Real Madrid truly wants to develop the player they paid nearly €50 million to Palmeiras for two years ago, they need to find ways to give him more playing time. A loan to a strong club in a competitive league remains a viable option. Right, Seu José?
