Ronaldinho Joins Ravenna as Brand Ambassador, No Serie C Matches Planned
The anticipated signing of Ronaldinho by Italian Serie C side Ravenna turned out to be a major publicity stunt. Ariedo Braida, former Milan director and honorary vice-president of Ravenna, clarified the situation, stating that the move is purely a marketing operation.
Braida made the club’s priorities clear: “Ronaldinho will participate in events related to promoting the team’s image but will not take part in any league matches.”
The 46-year-old legend is set to become a global brand ambassador, helping to attract investors and raise the club’s profile worldwide. The official partnership will be announced on June 23 in Miami, where Ravenna will unveil their new kit featuring the R10 logo. However, the Brazilian will still appear in one friendly match this summer.
