Saudi football is on the verge of one of its most significant developments in recent years. A consortium of five major investors is preparing a bid to acquire Al-Nassr from the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF).

The group includes current Al-Nassr player Cristiano Ronaldo, Milan owner Jerry Cardinale, and Saudi businessmen Ibrahim Al-Muhaydib, Mohammed Al-Khurayji, and Sharaf Al-Hariri. Each member is expected to invest at least $100 million.

According to information obtained by A Bola, Ronaldo could transition from being the club’s star player to one of its co-owners. This would mark an unprecedented move in Saudi football. Negotiations are now entering a critical stage, with a final meeting between the parties expected imminently. The outcome will determine whether the state fund transfers control of Al-Nassr or if the deal falls through.
