Juventus head coach Luciano Spalletti reflected on the significance of their 2-0 victory over Atalanta in Serie A, with goals from Conceicao and Bremer sealing the win.
“As a coach, you cannot overstate the importance of having your players fit and available,” Spalletti told Sky Sport Italia after the match. “Yesterday, there were moments when we had to defend deeply. In the second half, we were on equal footing but could have caused more damage because we had space to operate. Still, it was a good performance overall. Our defeat against Sassuolo had created some difficulties and doubts for us.
“Kolo Muani? He played really well. I was disappointed when he faced the goalkeeper one-on-one because he deserved to score. But in the end, he was very happy, and we joked about it. We are all pleased now because we can bring back some of our key players who would have been very useful to us recently.”
