Spain‘s right-back Pedro Porro will miss the upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures for his national team. The 27-year-old defender sustained an injury while playing for Tottenham in their Premier League match against Aston Villa during the fifth round of the competition.

In Porro’s absence, head coach Luis de la Fuente has called up another defender, Ivan Fresneda from Sporting. Fresneda, who was recently promoted from Spain’s youth national teams to the senior squad, will make his debut with the Furia Roja.

It is worth noting that Spain will face England on September 26, Croatia on September 29 and October 6, and Czech Republic on October 3 during the upcoming international window.
