England national team head coach Thomas Tuchel has shared his thoughts ahead of the second round of the UEFA Nations League against Czech Republic.
“It’s still too early to say that this match must be won at all costs, but our objective remains the same — victory. That was the case against Spain, and it will be the same now. At the same time, we must respect our opponents.
We watched the match against Croatia. The Czechs scored when the score was 1-2, and it was a very beautiful goal, although it was eventually disallowed. We saw many new tactical developments under their new coach. There is no underestimation; we understand this won’t be an easy game,” Tuchel stated.
