Tomasz Kędziora Reports Smooth Adaptation After Dynamo Return
Polish defender Tomasz Kędziora has returned to Dynamo Kyiv. Shortly after joining the squad during their training camp in Austria, Tomasz spoke to the official Dynamo website.
“Tomasz, welcome back to the club whose fans respect and admire you. What are your first impressions of reuniting with this familiar team?”
“I received an incredibly warm welcome here. I’m well acquainted with many teammates, having played alongside some of them before, so adapting hasn’t been difficult. It’s great to be back in the squad and to immerse myself in such a positive working environment. It’s clear that the starting players are all focused on achieving results while maintaining friendly relationships. There’s healthy competition and a strong desire to improve every day.”
“How long did you consider putting on the white and blue shirt again? What was the decisive factor in your decision?”
“This wasn’t a spontaneous choice—I carefully weighed sporting, personal, and family considerations. However, I didn’t deliberate for too long. The Dynamo Kyiv management made it clear they wanted me and were counting on me. After discussions with PAOK’s top executives, we agreed that I would move as a free agent. Dynamo is a special club for me that has contributed greatly to my career. Even while playing in Poland and Greece, I kept track of the team’s results, watched matches whenever I could, and followed the news. Now the time has come for me to give back by helping the team grow.”
“What conclusions did you draw after speaking with the head coach?”
“Ihor Kostiuk is a true professional, a dedicated individual with deep knowledge and understanding of football. We discussed my roles and responsibilities within the tactical setups. I’ve been playing as a central defender for the past three years, but I’m always ready to assist the team in any position if needed.”
“Dynamo will play their home European matches in Poland. Does this provide extra motivation for you?”
“Absolutely! I’m very familiar with the Polish stadiums and the local football atmosphere. I’m confident that my family and many friends will attend our games in Lublin, which will only boost my motivation.”
“What message would you like to share with Dynamo’s supporters today?”
“First and foremost, I want to thank the club’s fans for their support and trust. It’s a great honor for me to be part of this respected and popular team once again. I’ll give my all in every training session and every match to help Dynamo achieve new successes and climb to greater heights.”
It’s worth recalling that Kędziora won the Ukrainian Premier League with Dynamo in the 2020/21 season, as well as two Ukrainian Cups and three Ukrainian Super Cups during his previous spells at the club.
