Ivan Varfolomeyev, who has recently been involved with both the Ukraine U21 and senior national teams, has signed a new contract with the English club Lincoln City. His commitment to the club now extends until the summer of 2030.
Varfolomeyev is still relatively new to Lincoln City, having joined the squad just a year ago. Despite this, he quickly integrated into the team during the last season and was even honored as the club’s best young player. He continues to be a regular selection by the coaching staff in the current campaign, where Lincoln City is competing as a mid-table side in the Championship.
Born in Simferopol, Varfolomeyev developed through the Karpaty academy and made his professional debut with Rukh. In 2022, he transferred to Czech club Slovan Liberec, where he enjoyed a relatively successful three-season spell before moving to England.
