Georgia national team head coach Villi Sanoli held a press conference ahead of their upcoming UEFA Nations League clash against Northern Ireland. The match is scheduled for tomorrow with kickoff at 16:00 UTC.
“The team atmosphere is very positive, and everyone is supportive of each other. Injuries have somewhat disrupted our preparations; players like Kiteishvili and Chakvetadze have missed many games due to fitness issues. Nevertheless, we remain confident in our chances of success.
We have thoroughly reviewed and analyzed numerous videos of Northern Ireland’s matches. We understand where they may be vulnerable and where we can apply pressure. The squad is well-prepared, which gives us reason to be optimistic.
Khvicha is an excellent player. He is humble and does not consider himself the best. Unfortunately, Otar Mamageishvili suffered an injury, but he performed impressively during training and is expected to return in the future. Goglichidze currently has a better chance of playing than Sazonov,” Sanoli explained.
