World Cup 2026 Fan Festival Attendance Surpasses Two Million
An impressive number of fans are celebrating the FIFA World Cup at the FIFA Fan Festival 2026 after the first 24 matches.
An extensive program of events is planned for the remainder of the tournament, which will continue until July 19.
As the FIFA World Cup 2026™ captures the attention of the entire world, the FIFA Fan Festival is becoming the place where spectators from all over North America want to immerse themselves in the atmosphere and take part in the greatest show on earth.
This year, FIFA Fan Festival events are taking place in 13 cities across all three host countries, and all of them have enthusiastically welcomed visitors eager to watch world-class international football.
So far, the FIFA Fan Festival has reached a milestone of two million visitors today. While the stadiums in Canada and the USA are consistently operating at full capacity, the three Mexican host cities are currently leading in visitor numbers: Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara have recorded a combined attendance of 527,100, 244,710, and 218,424 people respectively.
“The FIFA Fan Festival is a key part of our offer for fans, and we are very pleased with how warmly it has been received by visitors. We wanted to create spaces in the host countries where locals and fans from around the world could come together to enjoy the World Cup, as well as spectacular entertainment and local cuisine. The fantastic response we have already received demonstrates the vision and dedication of the host cities, and we look forward to welcoming millions more fans in the coming weeks,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
Thanks to a multitude of scheduled concerts and events, as well as live broadcasts of matches on big screens, the FIFA Festival experience will become even more memorable in the coming weeks. Among the upcoming events are performances by Ludacris, Killer Mike, Ceelo Green, and Davido in Atlanta, as well as Mötley Crüe, The All-American Rejects, Flo Rida, Ashanti, Ja Rule, and The Chainsmokers in other cities.
