London Tottenham officially announced the signing of a long-term contract with the Netherlands national team defender Jan Paul van Hecke. The 26-year-old footballer became the latest newcomer to the team under the guidance of Roberto De Zerbi ahead of the new season.
After the transfer was completed, van Hecke shared his emotions: “It is a huge honor for me to become a Spurs player; it is a dream come true. I already have a very strong connection with the head coach, and I look forward to working with him again. Mickey van de Ven also told me a lot of great things about the club, so I am eager to get started. Stepping onto our stadium field in a Tottenham shirt in front of our fans will be a special moment.”
