Netherlands national team head coach Xavi Hernandez has shared his thoughts ahead of tomorrow’s UEFA Nations League clash against Germany. This match will mark the Spanish coach’s debut with his new team.
“Tomorrow, we need to deliver our best performance because Germany is an excellent side. I feel the intensity of this rivalry. Everyone in our squad is very excited about the upcoming match. This is a great way for us to start. Germany’s head coach Jürgen Klopp is one of the best managers in the world over the past few years. It will be a significant challenge for us, and for me personally as well.
As for the newcomers to the Netherlands squad, Givai Zekiele and Ruben van Bommel are naturally very motivated and have been impressing in training. After today’s and tomorrow’s sessions, we will decide whether to include them in the lineup for the game against Germany,” the UEFA website quoted Hernandez as saying.
