Paris Saint-Germain defender Ilya Zabarnyi reflected on his team’s 0-1 defeat to Lens in the French Super Cup.
“We simply failed to convert our chances. We created numerous opportunities, but sometimes football unfolds like this. You can win, you can lose — that’s the nature of the game. We’ll prepare for the season ahead because we know how challenging it will be. As a team, we really need to find our rhythm again. But right now, we’ll focus on the next match—and we’ll win,” the Ukrainian told the Paris club’s official website.
It’s worth noting that Zabarnyi started the match, which isn’t always the case, and he played the full 90 minutes.
