Bronny James, Dalton Knut, and Jayden Hardy are among the players likely to be cut by the Los Angeles Lakers ahead of the 2026/27 NBA season.
The Lakers currently have 16 players under guaranteed contracts, while the NBA roster limit for the season is set at 15.
Dalton Knut is considered the most probable candidate for release, but Los Angeles has yet to make a final decision. The team is also seriously contemplating letting Bronny leave as a free agent during the offseason, especially following the loss of his father, LeBron James.
