Miami Heat defender Pelle Larsson has agreed to a new four-year contract extension worth $60 million.
The deal includes an option for both parties to either extend or opt out of the contract before the 2030/31 season.
Selected in the second round of the 2024 draft, Larsson will avoid entering free agency next summer.
Larsson established himself as a key player for the Heat during the offseason. He is expected to play a significant role in the rotation, having averaged 11.4 points per game last season—nearly seven points more than in his rookie campaign.
The Miami Heat are aiming to return to the playoffs after missing out for the first time in seven seasons last year.
