Twenty-year-old German point guard Jack Cail will spend the 2026/27 season with Alba.
Cail was selected by the New York Knicks as the 39th overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. However, the team decided to allow him to gain additional experience playing in Europe, where his rights are held by the Serbian club Mega.
Cail had already appeared for Alba on loan at the end of last season. During his time in the FIBA Champions League, he averaged 12.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game. His performances earned him a spot on the second team as well as recognition as the tournament’s Rising Star.
