José Mourinho is reportedly dissatisfied with the current form of Vinícius Júnior, putting the Brazilian’s place in Real Madrid‘s starting lineup under serious doubt, according to Marca.
During the recent match against Atlético Madrid, Mourinho substituted Vinícius in the 54th minute. This marked the fourth consecutive game in which the forward has been unable to complete the full 90 minutes. His statistics at the start of the season are notably poor, with just one goal scored in approximately 650 minutes across all competitions. Remarkably, Vinícius’s output is even lower than some of the squad’s substitutes.
Marca reports that Mourinho’s patience is wearing thin. Previously, the Portuguese coach publicly defended Vinícius and granted him significant playing time. However, after another lackluster performance, Mourinho may reconsider his stance.
