NBA Team Valuations: Lakers Lead, Memphis Among the Most Affordable
The Los Angeles Lakers have once again become the most valuable franchise in the National Basketball Association following a $12.5 billion acquisition.
Interestingly, the previous owner, Mark Walter, purchased the Lakers just a year ago for $10 billion, securing a 25% profit in a remarkably short period.
According to Forbes, the teams with the longest-standing ownership are the Indiana Pacers, who have been under the same ownership since 1983, and the Chicago Bulls, owned continuously since 1985.
