Former Fiancée of Vladimir Klitschko, Actress Hayden Panettiere, Dies at 36
American actress Hayden Panettiere, who was previously engaged to Vladimir Klitschko, has died at the age of 36, according to the Associated Press citing a statement from her father, Skip Panettiere.
“With profound sorrow, we announce the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought boundless love and joy to everyone who knew her and to millions of viewers who watched her on screen,” the statement read, without mentioning the cause of death.
The relationship between Panettiere and Klitschko began in 2009. After a brief separation in 2011, they rekindled their romance in 2013 and announced their engagement. In December 2014, the couple welcomed their daughter, Kaya Evdokia.
The birth of their child coincided with a difficult period in Panettiere’s life, as she struggled with postpartum depression and developed dependencies on alcohol and opioids. The couple ended their engagement in 2018, and it was then decided that primary custody of Kaya would be granted to Klitschko.
