Nikola Mirotić is expected to leave Monaco this summer. According to BasketNews, the club’s financial difficulties could force several prominent players, including the experienced Montenegrin forward, to depart.
Mirotić joined Monaco from Milan with the aim of helping the team secure its first EuroLeague title. However, the season has been complicated by financial troubles, the exit of Vassilis Spanoulis, injuries, and a reduced squad.
The forward averaged 11 points and 3.4 rebounds in 19 minutes per game across 31 EuroLeague matches, shooting 48% from the field and 39% from beyond the arc.
Among the most intriguing potential destinations are Anadolu Efes, Fenerbahçe, and even Beşiktaş, which could pursue him after securing a spot in the EuroLeague.
Partizan is another club to watch, especially since Mirotić was close to joining the Serbian side three years ago before ultimately signing with Milan. Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Tel Aviv are also mentioned as teams capable of meeting his financial demands.
