“Niko-Basket” signed a contract with a player from the Ukraine U-18 national team
Young Ukrainian forward Nikita Beshetya has joined Niko-Basket.
Beshetya began the 2025/26 season with BIPA (Odessa) before finishing it at Sambir, where he helped secure bronze medals in the Higher League. Throughout the tournament, he averaged 17.0 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, with an efficiency rating of 11.7.
This summer, Beshetya represented the Ukraine U-18 national team at the European Championship, posting averages of 6.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game, along with an efficiency rating of 6.1.
Earlier, Niko-Basket announced the signing of contracts for the upcoming season with Maksym Hryshchuk, Maksym Safonov, Bohdan Lukyan, Artem Vodolazskyi, Yaroslav Karpyuk, Danylo Stryzhak, Yehor Ryzhkov, and Oleksandr Harbar.
