Last night in Springfield, the Basketball Hall of Fame welcomed a new class of inductees. In 2026, eight individuals and one team were honored with enshrinement.
The highlight of the ceremony was the induction of two renowned coaches, Mike D’Antoni and Doc Rivers, alongside former Phoenix and New York star Amar’e Stoudemire.
Notably, D’Antoni had coached Stoudemire during their time together in both Phoenix and New York.
Doc Rivers, who previously won a championship with Boston, is still active in coaching and parted ways with Milwaukee following last season.
The Hall also welcomed two legends of women’s basketball, Elena Delle Donne and Candace Parker, as well as the 1996 United States women’s Olympic basketball team.
