Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has confirmed that the club is actively working on the transfer of João Palhinha. The Portuguese midfielder is currently seeking a new team.
There is a possibility that an agreement could be reached as early as this week.
“We have been contacted regarding João Palhinha, but no deal has been finalized yet. At this moment, no agreement has been made,” Eberl stated.
The most likely buyer for Palhinha is Aston Villa, who have shown interest in the midfielder for several weeks now.
