Benfica secured their first victory of the season with an emphatic 7-0 away win. The visitors took the lead as early as the third minute through Prestiani, and shortly after, Rafa Silva doubled their advantage. The standout performer was Greek forward Emmanouil Pavlidis, who netted a hat-trick early in the second half. An own goal by Lawrence Ofori and a precise strike from Duran completed the overwhelming scoreline.
Ukrainian goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin remained on the bench for Benfica, watching the match unfold from the sidelines. Meanwhile, Georgiy Sudakov started the game and played 78 minutes but did not contribute directly to the score. Benfica extended their impressive unbeaten run in the league to 51 matches and climbed to fourth place in the standings.
