Ciro Immobile Retires at 36, Leaving Paris FC Before Contract Ends
FC Paris striker Ciro Immobile has decided to retire from professional football at the age of 36. The experienced Italian forward, who joined the capital club in January 2026, is stepping away from the game despite having a contract until the summer of 2027.
“Arriving in Paris in January 2026, he chose to join the club and its project to put the finishing touches on his illustrious career. Working with a player of such stature, experience, and achievements has been a true honor for FC Paris,” the club stated in an official announcement.
The 2021 European champion, 2020 Golden Boot winner, and four-time Serie A top scorer leaves behind a remarkable record of over 320 goals in 650 matches. During his time at FC Paris, he featured in 13 games, contributing 2 goals and 2 assists.
