Before joining Manchester City, two of Italy’s top clubs, Milan and Inter, showed interest in Donnarumma. Should the situation at the Manchester club deteriorate, the Milanese teams might renew their pursuit of the goalkeeper. It is also important to note that Donnarumma is a product of Milan‘s youth system, having played there from 2015 to 2021 before moving to Paris Saint-Germain (2021–2025), and then transferring to England.
