Fenerbahçe has officially announced the signing of Manchester City defender Nathan Aké. The 31-year-old Dutch international joined City in the summer of 2020, when he was acquired from Bournemouth for €45.3 million.
“Our club has reached an agreement with Dutch national team player Nathan Aké and signed a contract with him. The footballer, who participated in the 2026 World Cup, will join our squad in Austria after completing his vacation,” Fenerbahçe stated.
During his time at the English club, Nathan appeared in 177 matches, scoring 10 goals and providing two assists. With City, the defender won the Premier League four times, the FA Cup twice, the English League Cup, as well as the UEFA Champions League, the FA Community Shield, and the FIFA Club World Cup.
