FIFA Names Kylian Mbappé Man of the Match in France’s 3-0 Win Over Sweden
FIFA’s official website confirmed the expected outcome by naming France’s forward Kylian Mbappé as the best player in the Round of 16 match against Sweden.
The game ended with a 3-0 victory for France. Mbappé played a crucial role in the “Les Bleus” demolition of their opponents, scoring twice. His second goal marked his sixth in the current World Cup, propelling him to the top of the scoring charts alongside Lionel Messi.
It is worth noting that Mbappé was exceptionally active throughout the match against Sweden, although not always efficient. He registered five shots, four of which were on target, completed three successful dribbles out of five attempts, delivered four key passes, and was caught offside once. His passing accuracy stood at 83 percent.
