Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick addressed the media ahead of the club’s La Liga seventh-round clash against Sevilla.
Reflecting on last season’s away defeat to Sevilla, Flick emphasized that his team is currently in a different state. “First and foremost, I have to say that we are on another level compared to last year. However, every match starts at 0-0. Sevilla, especially at home, plays very well,” the Catalan manager remarked.
Flick anticipates intense man-marking and high pressing from Sevilla. “It will be crucial for us to play with confidence and build out through the flanks. We need to control the game against a team that relies heavily on one-on-one situations, move the ball quickly, especially in our own half, and try to switch play from one side to the other,” the German coach explained.
