Hansi Flick has been named La Liga’s Manager of the Month for the first time this season. This recognition comes as no surprise, given that Barcelona remained unbeaten in the Spanish league throughout September.
During this period, four rounds were played, and the Catalan side won every match with a combined scoreline of 19-5. Barcelona delivered a crushing 5-0 victory away at Valencia, followed by a 4-2 win over Levante. They then demolished Racing Santander 7-2 before securing a more controlled 3-1 triumph against Sevilla. This remarkable scoring run marked the highest level of offensive output the club has achieved at the start of a league campaign in 111 years.
In the voting for the Manager of the Month award, Flick edged out Diego Simeone of Atlético Madrid and Manuel Pellegrini of Real Betis. This accolade adds to Flick’s previous four awards, which he won in August 2024, October 2024, February 2025, and March 2026.
