Jurgen Klopp on Germany’s Disallowed Goal: Arsenal Scores 60% Similarly
Jurgen Klopp, regarded as the leading German coach of the modern era, responded to Germany’s recent elimination. He emphasized that the disallowed goal by Jonathan Tah was a pivotal moment.
“If goals like that were routinely overturned, Arsenal wouldn’t have won the English Premier League,” Klopp remarked during a live broadcast on Magenta TV.
He added, “They scored 60% of their goals in that manner.”
Although Klopp is considered a frontrunner to replace Julian Nagelsmann as the head coach of the German national team, he avoided giving a direct answer when asked about the possibility.
