Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique shared his thoughts on his team’s performance in yesterday’s Ligue 1 away fixture against Marseille, which ended in a 2-1 victory. This marked only the second win for the Parisians in the current French championship season.
“Le Classique is exhausting, but I am very pleased! Some believed it would be easy, but I never thought so. Today, once again, we witnessed how challenging it is to play in Le Classique, especially at the Velodrome, but I believe we performed very well.
The second half was significantly better than the first. We worked hard to improve our play compared to the opening 45 minutes and created many chances. We succeeded, and we are very happy with these three points, which, as we know, are important for our supporters,” the PSG website quoted the coach as saying.
