Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk of Tottenham Hotspur is set to return to action only by the end of October after suffering an ankle injury shortly after his comeback to top-level football. It is most likely that he will be available for the Premier League clash against Crystal Palace scheduled for October 31.
Two weeks ago, Mudryk was diagnosed with an ankle injury, ruling him out of the Ukraine national team matches. Ukraine head coach Andrea Maldera had been keen to call up Mudryk to revive his international career.
It is worth recalling that at the end of July, Mudryk was officially cleared in a doping case. At that time, Chelsea issued a statement asserting that “if Mudryk’s sample had been analyzed according to current technical standards, it would not have been considered positive, and no anti-doping rules would have been violated.”
