Mykhailo Mudryk Returns to Chelsea Training After Doping Suspension
Chelsea’s press service officially announced that two players have joined the squad during their training camp in Hong Kong. The newcomers are Danny Welbeck and Ukrainian midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk, who has just completed his suspension for a doping violation.
This marked Mudryk’s first training session with Chelsea since the end of 2024. The London club’s official website commented on the Ukrainian’s return: “Mykhailo Mudryk, having received clearance to resume football activities following the conclusion of his anti-doping case, has rejoined the team and trained for the first time since December 2024.”
Additionally, Chelsea is set to play their next friendly match on Wednesday at the Kai Tak Sports Park stadium. Their opponents will be Juventus from Turin.
