Natalia Belloli, the wife of Rafinha, has responded to circulating rumors about her husband’s financial troubles, which were sparked by former “Seleção” player Vampeta.
According to Vampeta, Rafinha is considering a move to Saudi Arabia due to serious financial and family issues. Subsequently, Portal LeoDias revealed more details about the alleged difficulties faced by the Barcelona winger, claiming that 80 percent of his income was controlled by his father, leaving the player with only 20 percent.
“Honestly, I find it absurd that we have to talk about our financial situation. If we were currently earning even 10 percent of what Rafinha makes, we would already be happy. I don’t see the point in airing this on social media because I’m fully aware of the society we live in. If I posted something like, ‘Listen, I’m not poor, I’m still wealthy,’ people would call me arrogant. I thought the story would die down, but these rumors have already reached Spain, and everyone is convinced we are broke. There’s nothing we can do about it,” Natalia told CNN Brasil.
