UAF President Andriy Shevchenko responded to the recent Russian shelling of Odessa, which caused significant damage to the Chornomorets Stadium.

The attack left a large hole in the roof and destroyed the facade, just before the Ukrainian Premier League match against Kolos was due to take place. The game, originally scheduled to kick off at 10:00 UTC, was subsequently canceled.

“Russia attacked Odessa again today. As a result, Chornomorets Stadium was damaged. This is the stadium where the national team played its last match in Ukraine before the full-scale invasion,” Shevchenko wrote on Instagram.
