Mohamed Salah’s deal with Trabzonspor includes a clause that could significantly boost the Egyptian forward’s earnings at his new club.

It was previously revealed that the 34-year-old striker secured a contract paying him 17 million euros annually.

However, the contract also contains a provision granting the former Liverpool star 20% of the revenue from any merchandise sold bearing his name by Trabzonspor.

Given the current surge in popularity in Turkey following Salah’s transfer, this additional income could potentially make him the highest-paid player in Europe.
