According to insider Igor Burbas, Kharkiv forward Peter Itodo was once again denied entry to the team meeting. The striker was refused a Schengen visa for the second time, which means he will miss the club’s preseason training camp.
Itodo had previously missed the winter training sessions for the same visa issues. Despite this setback, FC Kharkiv continues to rely on him and has assigned him to prepare with the U21 squad, which is currently training in Ukraine ahead of the competitive season.
Last season, Itodo was the team’s top scorer, netting 15 goals in 31 appearances.
