Viktor Tsyhankov scored his first goal for Ajax in their Eredivisie clash against Willem II, which ended in a convincing 5-1 victory.
“It’s always great to score, but the most important thing is that we won today,” Tsyhankov told Ajax’s official website.
The Ukrainian winger also shared his thoughts on adapting to his new team.
“It’s an amazing feeling to play alongside such fantastic players at a big club like this. I’m really enjoying it. The start of the season was challenging because I didn’t have a proper preseason. I want to keep working hard and give everything for the team. We all understand how we want to play. The coach’s ideas are clear: we want to dominate, keep possession, and attack constantly. This suits both the club and the players. We need to keep this momentum and believe in our style of play,” Tsyhankov added.
