However, Swedish media found his performance lacking. The 28-year-old forward failed to register any further shots on goal after scoring and was unsuccessful in both dribbling attempts before being substituted in the 76th minute.
TVMatchen rated Djokeresh’s display at 6 out of 10, noting that his performance appeared somewhat subdued, likely due to his scarce starting opportunities at Arsenal. Nonetheless, they commended him for seizing his chance and demonstrating his qualities as a genuine goal scorer.
SvenskaFans offered a more restrained assessment, stating that while he struggled to get into the rhythm of the game, he was effective in acting as a “target man.”
FotbollSkanalen described Djokeresh as a player eager to compete but highlighted his underwhelming showing in duels and difficulties with ball control.
In contrast, SVT Sport portrayed his performance more positively, emphasizing that the 28-year-old forward played in his customary style for the national team, bringing his tally to 22 goals in 38 appearances for Sweden.
