The Los Angeles Lakers have secured the services of center Sandro Mamukelashvili with a four-year deal worth $52 million, while also signing guard Collin Sexton to a two-year contract valued at $19 million.
Mamukelashvili previously played for the Toronto Raptors, averaging 11.2 points and 4.9 rebounds last season. Sexton finished the campaign with the Chicago Bulls, posting averages of 17.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists.
Prior to these signings, the Lakers traded for center Walker Kessler from the Utah Jazz and agreed on a four-year, $130 million contract extension with him. Los Angeles gained salary cap space following forward LeBron James’ decision not to renew his contract with the club.
