Dani Ceballos Leaves Real Madrid by Mutual Agreement After Seven Seasons
Midfielder Dani Ceballos, whose contract was originally set to run until 2027, has officially departed from Real Madrid this summer. The two parties mutually agreed to part ways after seven seasons together, during which the midfielder never fully established himself as a regular starter. Throughout his time in the Spanish capital, Ceballos had two loan spells at London’s Arsenal and featured in 215 matches for Los Blancos, winning 16 trophies. At 29 years old, the Spaniard is now a free agent.
Real Madrid bid a warm farewell to the player: “Real Madrid and Dani Ceballos have mutually agreed to end his time at our club. Dani Ceballos has represented Real since 2017, a period that stands as one of the most successful in our history. Over seven seasons with the first team, he won 16 titles, including three UEFA Champions League trophies and two La Liga championships. Real thanks Dani Ceballos for his dedication and hard work and wishes him and his family all the best in the next chapter of their lives. Real will always be his home.”
