Dick Advocaat Praises Curaçao’s Performance After World Cup Draw with Ecuador
Curaçao’s head coach Dick Advocaat praised his team’s performance following their goalless draw against Ecuador.
“I believe it was a truly excellent match from the perspective of our play. Towards the end, you could see the players were tired. Fortunately, we managed to hold on to the result. It was well deserved because we also had chances to score. It was a good game,” Advocaat commented.
Curaçao secured their first-ever point in a World Cup tournament. In their final group stage match, Advocaat’s side will face Ivory Coast on Thursday, 25 June.
